YOUTH Sailing

Sail with us on beautiful Meredith Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee under the guidance of United States Sailing Association certified instructors. Meredith Bay Sailing Association (MBSA) is a not-for-profit 501(C)3 organization founded to provide the youth of the Lakes Region sailing opportunities.

History

Attorney Kevin F. Sullivan found pure joy in sailing and teaching others.  His enthusiasm for sailing was truly contagious. In his memory, Meredith Bay Sailing Association has been formed from his memorial donations allowing his family and friends to share that same passion with your family. In his spirit we are dedicated to providing an affordable sailing program for young sailors.

A Sailing Program for the Lakes Region Community

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT BUILDING A BOAT?

The Meredith Bay Sailing Association is pleased to announce its sponsorship of a five day boat building course to benefit its community youth sailing program.

Building the acclaimed Shellback Dinghy.  Designed by naval architect Joel White, the Shellback Dinghy is a versatile craft that sails, rows and tows superbly.  Your instructor, Corey Lofblad, has an impressive boat building resume.  Corey has attended multiple courses in small boat construction at the Wooden Boat School in Brooklin, Maine and operates his own boat shop where he specializes in building small craft and restoring wooden power boats.

Two groups of five students will construct two (2) boats that will be put in service by our program.

Please register early as we anticipate filling up quickly.
