The Apprentice

We have a new Apprentice at the shop. His name is Brady and he is apprenticing for the job as "Greeter". Rocky has held this position for 12 years and wants to retire so he is showing Brady the ropes.

You can see that Brady fit right into a canoe when we got him in December.

Here Rocky is showing Brady the fine art of resting up for the next onslaught of visiters.
Brady helps in shipping sometimes. Here he is testing the strength (and taste) of the tubes that we roll fiberglass on.
We've had lots of snow this year. Since Brady is from North Carolina he has had to become conditioned to the snow. Here Rocky is taking him on a long morning walk for conditioning and to use some of his energy so they can rest again (see picture above).

Rocky is good at showing Brady how to pose for the camera.

Brady is part wire-haired terrier (or Wheaten Terrier) on his Mom's side and we think his Dad was a lab of some sort. Only time and a DNA test will tell!!

Relaxing at the shop.
04/24/08 Brady is 55 lbs. Started at 10 lbs when he left his siblings in North Carolina in December....
